Communicates regularly with prospective students and uses the customer relationship management (CRM) system to enter prospect data, track communications, and follow up with inquiries. Supports marketing tactics including email and mailing campaigns and researches new international markets. Salary Range $34,757 per year Essential Job Functions Description of Job Function 1. Provides information to prospective international students about Valencia's academic programs and entrance requirements. Description of Job Function 2. Checks the general student inquiry account daily and provides fast and accurate responses. Description of Job Function 3. Assists in generating email templates to respond to frequently asked questions. Description of Job Function 4. Utilizes online programs such as Skype to communicate with prospective students and their families. Description of Job Function 5. Responds to requests for Valencia materials, prepares mass mailings as needed, and assists with maintaining inventory of recruitment supplies. Description of Job Function 6. Assists in building relationships with school counselors, education agents, EducationUSA advisers, and other international partners. Description of Job Function 7. Inputs prospect student information into the CRM communications system, follows up with prospects, and assists prospects with submitting online application. Description of Job Function 8. Prepares and maintains reports regarding student inquiries. Description of Job Function 9. Reviews college and marketing websites and identify issues or improvements that need to be made; maintains content on international social media pages. Description of Job Function 10. Hosts international visitors on campus by organizing schedules and giving campus tours. Description of Job Function 11. Assists in developing presentations for prospective students and educational agents. Description of Job Function 12. Researches international recruitment trends, competitors, or key markets; generates innovative marketing strategies to increase student applications. Description of Job Function 13. Collects information on housing, scholarships, local activities, and services for incoming international students. Description of Job Function 14. Assists supervisor in preparing for international or domestic recruitment trips. Description of Job Function 15. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Field of Study Other Required Qualifications Required License/Certification Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education & Field of Study Preferred Type of Experience Proficiency in at least one language other than English relevant to a country or region that is a desired market for international student recruitment. Experience working with international students or customers. Experience utilizing social media as a marketing and communication tool. Preferred Licenses/Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of international college admissions/records requirements and policies for international students. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Ability to research industry trends and collect program-related information, and to prepare reports. Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations. Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use critical thinking skills as it relates to resolving student issues Ability to operate a PC and skill in using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in data entry. Working Conditions General Working Conditions This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 5-15 pounds. This job also entails frequently communicating, discerning and exchanging information, detecting and perceiving objects up close, at a distance, and the ability to adjust focus.
